AMA Doubleheader, Elkhart Lake, WI 2006

The annual AMA Superbike Doubleheader took place the first weekend of June at the famous Road America racetrack in Elkhart Lake, WI. A number of RAT members attended the races over the three days, and several even camped onsite over the weekend. Chris and Toni even participated in the daily Parade of Motorcycles, which allowed everyone to ride their street bike on the actual track. The races were thrilling, especially watching to see if Ben Spies would win his 7th in a row, shattering Duhamel's record. Matt Mladin was there too in an effort to thwart his 6 race losing streak, and he did just that winning both races.
