Either way the Around the Lake trip is one of our most scenic trips of the riding season.
Around the Lake

One of our annual rides is the "Around the Lake", during
which we actually go around Lake Michigan. Now some years we go
the entire distance and that takes at least two days. Other years
we decided to ride up to Manitowac, Wisconsin, and take the S.S. Badger
ferry to the Michigan town of Ludington. There we either stay
overnight or begin the return trip back to Illinois. Either way the Around the Lake trip is one of our most scenic trips of the riding season. |
