Triumph U.S. held their open house at their headquarters in
Atlanta in October. The festivities offered everyone a chance to get
together, watch Duker do his stunts, and buy Triumph clothing at a
significant discount all while listening to a band and eating
complimentary Hooters wings. Now who could pass all that up? A few of us from the Chicago pack decided to go down for a long weekend. Chris and Toni trailered their bikes down along with two kids, and Dave and Janet Foster picked up their daughter Jessie at SIU on their way south. On the way home Chris and Toni took a slight detour to ride the infamous Dragon Run at Deals Gap. Some of the most challenging riding in the country is represented by this 318 turn 11 mile long road winding between Tennessee and North Carolina. People come from all over the U.S. to try their hand at slaying the Dragon. The Tree of Shame shows what was left of bikes that didn't make it all the way through! The pack plans on going to the Dragon Raid next year so if these pictures interest you, plan on coming along! |
