Events & Rides

 

Our RAT pack schedules motorcycle related events throughout the year.  These events can be anything from a meeting where we all get together, to an overnight ride.  We also enjoy participating in events that other groups sponsor.  If you see an event on this page, there's a good chance that one of our members will be in attendance.  To be sure, just join our mailing list and you'll be kept in the loop.

FYI: All planned rides offer different riding destinations and experiences along with a chance to get to know other pack members. Don't worry about being a novice rider, each ride is planned in advance with a specified route, and is led by an experienced rider.  Many of our pack members are MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) instructors, so you will be in good hands.  Before each ride we will review safe group riding techniques and hand signals so you will feel comfortable riding in the group.

If you have suggestions for future rides be sure to let us know - we're always looking for new ideas!   And if you attend any event, be sure to take pictures and forward them to windycityrats@yahoo.com so that we can post them on this page.

Thursday, July 10 Monthly meeting at Fuddruckers, Rohlwing Road, Addison, 7:30 pm.  If the weather is good, ride your bike to the meeting and afterwards we'll take a ride together!

July 12 Annual Jersey Pine Cruisers Midnight Tour
July 18 National "Ride to Work" Day - take your Triumph out and ride with pride!
July 18-20 BBC Annual Rally, Eagle Cave - Blue River, WI  Some member are going to camp, and if you're interested in attending, click here to register.  Registration is due by July 1st.
July 25 - 27 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, Lexington, Ohio. This year is the Year of the Triumph, with a mock salute to the Triumph Bonneville.

September 12 - 14 MotoGP comes to Indianapolis!
September 19 - 21 Midwest Triumph RAT Pack Rally, New Glarus, WI.

October 5 Walneck's Swap Meet, Woodstock, 9 am.
Monday, October 6 Join the Ton Up Club Chicago for a curbside motorcycle show.  Today Triumphs are highlighted! Vote for your favorite motorcycle and the winner will win a trophy.  Five Star Bar - 1424 W. Chicago, 312.850.2555
