We met at MCC to begin our annual Fall Colors Run to Starved Rock State Park in Ottawa, Illinois.

At this time of year in Chicago weather can be an issue, but that wouldn't be the case today.  The day before was extremely windy but it cleared out the clouds and brought in mild temperatures making it perfect for riding.

We headed south toward the park had a relaxing and uneventful ride.  Once we got to the park, we grabbed lunch at the lodge and sat outside at a picnic table overlooking the valley. It was a beautiful view but there weren't many leaves to see since the blustery winds that brought the warmer weather also blew most of the leaves off the trees!

But a good time was had by all and our annual Fall Colors Ride continues to be a beautiful way to celebrate the fall season!
