The 2003 Galena Raid attendees were provided with a set of maps of various rides ranging in length and difficulty for use during the rally. The maps and accompanying directions were so well done that we decided it would be a sin not to share them! Below are the various rides listed in order of length, along with their map and written directions. All rides originate from Chestnut Mountain Resort.

Long & Winding Roads Tour - 138 Miles
This challenging endurance ride takes you through the towns of Galena, Council Hill, Elizabeth, Scales
Mound, Stockton, and Woodbine. During the ride you will cross over a single lane wooden bridge that will
require your attention! The tour is long but takes you through windy, twisty, roads of varying elevation so it
is sure to challenge even the most expert rider.

Scenic Lunch Ride - 105 Miles
This ride takes the infamous Stagecoach Trail north into the town of Schullsburg, Wisconsin. From there
you will proceed north to the town of Mineral Point, a town established by Cornish immigrants to work in the
mines in the area. This route includes sweeping curves, long straightways, scenic country sites and usually
a low volume of traffic.

Perimeter Search Ride - 76 Miles
This easy-going tour takes you through the towns of Hanover, Stockton, Warren, Apple River, Scales Mound,
Council Hill and Galena. During the ride you will cross over a single lane wooden bridge that will require
your attention! The scenery is beautiful and the roads taken are well suited for all types of riders including
beginners.

Twists & Turns Tour - 68 Miles
This ride takes you through the towns of Hanover, Elizabeth, Woodbine, Scales Mound, Council Hill and
Galena. The trail has roads of varying difficulty that will challenge all levels of rider. During the ride you will
cross over a single lane wooden bridge that will require your attention!

Inner Circle Tour - 63 Miles
This challenging tour is short but sweet. It snakes through the towns of Elizabeth, Woodbine, and Galena.
It's a great run for all levels of riders from beginner to expert.

Tiger Rider Tour - 57 Miles
If you're looking for a short and challenging run, this is it! This tour follows every curvy road in the area and
only goes through the town of Hanover. If you're an experienced rider, this run will give you a chance to
challenge your abilities. Even if you're a beginner, the curves on this road will improve your skills.

Mississippi River Valley Century Tour - 110 Miles
This tour will take you through the towns of Hanover, Savanna, Sabula, Bellevue and Dubuque. Be careful
when crossing the river as the bridge is metal and has a steep descent.
